Robert F. Hyland Arena

The Robert F. Hyland Arena was built in 1997 and is home to many Lindenwood athletic programs along with athletic department offices. Both men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, wrestling, and women's gymnastics programs compete at the arena along with several Student Life Sports teams. The facility was named after Robert Hyland who was the chairman of the Lindenwood board for many years and was also the CBS Regional Vice President and General Manager of radio station KMOX in St. Louis, Missouri for four decades. Hyland introduced the first talk radio format and the first listener call-in programs at KMOX in 1960.
